difference. Successful marketing of your classes, philosophy, and program structure
can lead to building a strong Trampoline and Tumbling recreation and competitive
program.
There are as many ways to begin your marketing adventures as there are reasons to start a program. The most important rule is to keep it simple. One of the easiest ways to advertise your program is to start right within your own gym. Many of your new students for this program will come directly from your current enrollment. Gymnasts who are looking for an extra hour a week will be the first to respond. Use your current bulletin board to advertise your Trampoline and Tumbling program. Make posters, give free trials, anything to entice kids to try your program. Once they try it, they will most likely be hooked. Another way to market your program is to find potential student from families who are already involved in your gym. Brothers, sisters and cousins are all potential trampolinists. Most parents would welcome any opportunity for less driving, and since they are already members of your program it would be a natural choice for their other children. Trampoline and Tumbling is a fairly new and unique sport that may not be well established in your area, so take advantage of this. Let every one know in your marketing plan that your gym is the only one or or one of few clubs in your area that has this program. People who have not been interested in gymnastics before might be waiting for you to give them choices. Don't forget to mention that it is now an Olympic sport. Everyone wants something to shoot for, what better than the Olympics. Probably the best way to advertise your program is to have a performing team. A folding trampoline is pretty easy to transport to a school event, and even the easiest skills look awesome on a trampoline. Kids will beg their parents to try it.
